The Management Board

The board of Norðoya Bú- og Heimatænasta consists of the mayors of the municipalities in the Northern Islands. According to Løgting law, municipalities with more than a thousand inhabitants get one additional member per 1,000 inhabitants. If the number of board members is equal, the municipality with the most inhabitants gets one more member. Thus, in total, the Board of Directors of NBH counts 11 members.
