Meal service

Senior citizens living at home have the option of applying to have dinner delivered to their home any day of the year. You decide how many days a week you want to have dinner.

The purpose of the service is: To support that the senior citizens can live in their own home for as long as possible. The dinner is produced at Klaksvík Hospital and must be heated according to instructions from the hospital. The food can be reheated in both the oven and the microwave. If you need help heating your food, you can also apply for home help for this.

The main course costs 55 kr. Main course and soup/dessert cost 60 kr.

The decision to provide the meal service, will be made based on a professional assessment.

Based on the workflow in the kitchen at Klaksvík Hospital, it is necessary that you give notice three days in advance if you sometimes do not want dinner. It can be done on tel. 404581 between 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Likewise with re-enrollment.
