Sambýlið á Heygnum

On March 16. 2003 the residential home opened “á Heygnum”. The house has two floors. The upper floor has 15 places, including five for round-the-clock rehabilitation, eight short-term places, and two permanent places.

The home “á Heygnum” is in a process where the unit's operations will henceforth be round-the-clock rehabilitation and short-term places only. Therefore, it is no longer possible to apply for a place at “á Heygnum”.

Nurse Sólgerð Vang is the head of the department.

The “Smæran” activity center and the "Ven og virka" fitness rooms are housed on the ground floor.
